KULTRA-FM is non-commercial radio from Berlin, broadcasting around the clock via the internet and also hourly via DAB+ in Berlin and parts of Brandenburg. The station emerged from another non-commercial radio project in late autumn 2003 and has been on air since January 2004, broadcasting 24/7 since March 2010. The staff are music-loving radio enthusiasts who produce the program entirely on a voluntary basis, offering music that is otherwise hard to find on the radio, as well as a platform for musicians whose work doesn't fit mainstream formats. Their music genres include Alternative, Gothic, and Rock.
